The recall affects plastic New Age furniture tip restraint kits sold with clothing storage units by various prominent furniture companies, including American Drew, Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC, Bassett Furniture Industries, Inc., and many others. The defective kits were manufactured in Vietnam and have been distributed nationwide since November 2019. Consumers are advised to check their furniture for a manufacture date sticker or stamp indicating November 2019 or later. If a plastic tip restraint kit is identified, it should be replaced promptly.
