Sealection and other Spray Foam Insulations are polyurethane foams created by the chemical reaction of two sets of highly toxic compounds brought together in a spraying apparatus. These products must be handled by an installer who applies the material into the attic (or similar) areas of a home while wearing protective gear and a breathing apparatus.
Chemical used in Sealection Spray Foam Insulations include methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI), which has been recognized by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as being toxic to humans.
