According to an online recall announcement published by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Stokke has initiated a recall of its Clikk high chairs. The high chairs pose a significant fall injury risk . The recall number is 22-113. The white serial number can be found under the seat. The Clikk high chairs have a defect where the white plastic seat can break leading to a fall injury to children.
The Clikk high chair recall affects about 790 chairs in the United States. Those people who have purchased the defective chair are urged to contact Stokke. Information about the recall can be found by visiting StokkeUSA.com, and clicking on the “Product safety and recall information” link that is found at the bottom of the page.
The recall only involves Stokke Clikk high chairs that are white in color. The affected Stokke high chair with a footrest with wooden legs and white molded plastic seat. Only white Clikk high chairs with an item number of 552104 and has a serial number within the range of 135AA0057070 – 135AA0057908 are part of this recall. The serial and item numbers can be found printed on a label found under the high chair’s seat. The affected high chairs were made between December 16-18, 2020, and have Stokke Clikk High Chair printed on the label.
Consumers are warned to immediately stop using these recalled Stokke white high chairs and contact Stokke to receive a free replacement. Purchasers will be sent a free replacement Clikk high chair after they visit Stokke’s website and confirm their product is part of the recall.
